Jamey had his knee surgery today.  Last night he was telling me that he wasn't going to take the vicodin prescription from the doctor.  He's very worried about getting addicted to anything.  I nodded my head, but thought to myself, Yeah, just wait until you wake up from the anaesthesia; then we'll talk.  This afternoon when I picked him up from the surgery center, I asked him if he was going to fill the vicodin 'script.  With his eyes closed, he replied, "Yeah as soon as possible."

I figured so.

The kids and I spent the day shopping and playing at McDonalds.  At Michaels, I bought more yarn for Phisto's ruffled wristwarmers.  When I have a spare minute (most likely next month) I'll post the pattern on my pattern shop...and of course pictures.  I also found the thread I need for the Bracelets I am making (gotta name them)--if I can make enough that will sell--I'll have so much yarn money.  Whoppee!  Then we stopped by James Avery to buy my brother his belated Christmas gift.  He is finally coming home from Korea tomorrow, actually.

I can't wait to squeeze him.
